Dumbbell Upright Row

Preparation

The main muscles worked by the Dumbbell Upright Row primarily are the trapezius, deltoids and secondarily the biceps. Stand straight with feet shoulder width apart. Grasp a dumbbell in each hand with overhand grip i.e. your palms should face the front of your thighs.

Method

Step 1

Now, exhale and pull the dumbbells up to the front of your chest

Step 2

Allow wrists to flex and arms to bend as you raise the dumbbells

Step 3

Maintain the overhand position of your wrists

Step 4

Inhale and lower the dumbbells to the starting position

Step 5

Repeat for the desired number of reps.
