60 gms of whole wheat flour
1 medium bowl of finely chopped carrot
1 medium bowl of finely chopped cabbage
100 gms finely chopped chicken breasts
1 small bowl of finely chopped onions
A couple of pinches of turmeric powder, red chilli powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, salt and black pepper
Little bit of oil/ghee for greasing
Some dust wheat flour and water
Mix and knead the whole wheat flour to a soft dough by mixing some water and salt. Once kneaded, cover the dough and keep it aside for - mins
Mix all the grated vegetables, onions, chicken and masalas mentioned in the ingredients - you can either chop them super fine or lightly mix them using and grinder. After your are done mixing them, sauté slightly on a heated pan for - minutes. Your stuffings in ready
Grease the steamer pan with oil and keep aside
Divide the dough into medium sized balls and place - tablespoons of the stuffings in the center and start giving the dough a shape of your own choice. Make sure to join the pleats in the center once you are down with the shape-up. You can dust with some wheat flour in the process
Place the momos directly in the greased steamer. Keep some space between them so that they are not too close to each other
Steam for - mins. In case you don’t have a steamer or don’t know how to use one, refer any youtube videos for the entire steaming process or for steaming alternatives using a cooker
