) take soya chunks flour and besan in equal quantity in a pot. ) add baking powder and soda (half-half table spoon) ) add salt to taste. ) add buttermilk to mixture. ) mix and add water to till you get semiliquid consistency. ) cover and keep the better aside for some time . ) prepare the steamer, grease the khaman plate with - drops of oil. ) pour the mixture into it and put the plate in steamer. ) let it steam for - mins ) take some oil in a pan put some mustard seeds and kadi patta in it, roast them till the become crispy, pour & spread them over the set khaman. ) cut the khaman in desired shape. ) server with home made chutneys and curd. ) enjoy
