Ingredients

Semolina 100gm (Sooji/Rava) (Use any flour you like?

Gram Flour (Besan) 100gm (Use any lentils you like)

Curd 50gm

Oil 10gm

Salt and Spices

Onion/Tomato/Coriander (any other veggies)

Eno 1/2 tsp

Method

Step 1

Whisk semolina (sooji), besan and curd.

Step 2

Whisk untill there are no lumps.

Step 3

Now add some water and form a consistent batter.

Step 4

Add some finely chopped onion, tomato and any other veggies you like.

Step 5

Add / spoon eno and mix well.

Step 6

Let it sit for sometime. The batter will turn frothy.

Step 7

Apply some oil with a silicon oil brush.

Step 8

Use an Appan Patra to make appam balls. You can also use a pan to make it like a pan cake. (like a cheela) Cook both sides.

Step 9

You can serve it with coriander chutney (any other chutney)
