Pour over grade ground coffee
Place the v cup over the coffee cup and fix the filter paper in place
Gently pour hot water over the filter paper so it sticks in place & this helps in removing the paper taste from the filter. Throw the hot water collected in the cup
Add the coffee powder on the filter paper and place the setup on the weighing scale
Begin by adding grams of water in a slow circular motion to wet the coffee. This phase is called blooming. The carbon dioxide in the coffee escapes thus reducing the acidity flavour profile
After seconds add grams of water in a slow circular motion
We have to add grams of water in steps of grams with a gap of seconds in between all the steps. In these steps , swirl the v cup gently to ensure the coffee bed sits flat
After pouring the last grams, stir the coffee bed clockwise and anti clockwise to ensure the coffee bed is extracted evenly
