Chicken - 100gms
50 gms Onion
Pepper powder - 1 tsp
Chicken masala - 1/2 tsp
Coconut oil - 10gm
Ginger - 1/2 inch
Salt - to taste
Cumin seeds - 1/4 tsp
Curry leaves - 2 -3
Heat oil in a kadai. Add in the cumin seeds and once it splutters add the curry leaves. Add ginger , onions and sauté well until it turns brown and soft. Now, add the chicken pieces. Give it a mix and then close the lid for - minutes until chicken oozes out water. Now, open the lid and add all spices and salt to taste. Sauté it well until the chicken is all fried and well cooked - this takes about another minutes or so. Kerala style pepper chicken is now ready
