Ingredients

1. Carrot 300 grams

2. Milk 200 ML

3. Ghee 10 grams

4. Mixed nuts 20 grams

5. Raisins 20 grams

6. Cardamom seeds

7. Saffron strands

Method

Step 1

Add ghee to a pan and let it get hot & use - cardamom seeds.

Step 2

After that the grated carrots to a large pan and turn heat to medium-high. Saute the carrots for minutes so that some of the moisture is removed.

Step 3

Now add the milk with sugar-free, nuts, saffron strands and raisins to the same pan and let the milk (with the carrots) come to a boil. Then lower the heat to medium flame, and let the it cook.

Step 4

Cook it until all the liquid is evaporated. Stir frequently as you don't want the halwa to scorch the bottom of the pan. This will take about - minutes

Gajar ka halwa is ready to be enjoyed!
