Potatoes - 200 grams
Amul cream - 30 ml (thick cream)
Butter - 20 grams
Oregano, salt, chilli flakes, garlic cloves 2-3
Peel the potatoes and cut them into medium sized cubes so they cook evenly.
Add the potatoes to a pressure cooker, add water and add pinches of salt.
Turn the stove on on medium heat and let it run for about - mins and let it depressurize halfway, so we know the potatoes are done.
Drain the potatoes and add them to a pan and cook on a medium high flame for about - mins while stirring so that the excess water dries.
Mash the potatoes with a potato masher until very fine and there are no lumps, make sure you put good effort into this.
Add melted butter to the mashed potatoes and mix it in, since the butter might be salted already, give it a taste test to see if it needs anymore salt, because it has to have a mildly salty flavour.
In a vessel take the cream and to it add some oregano and garlic to infuse the flavours and cook it for a minute stirring nicely on low heat.
Add the cream to the potatoes slowly, while mixing it in well.
Top it with some oregano and chilli flakes.
Enjoy your delicious, creamy and buttery mashed potatoes!
