Dumbbell Goblet Squats

Preparation

Dumbbell Goblet Squats primarily work the quadriceps and the glutes. Stand with feet slightly wider than shoulder width apart. Keep your spine straight. Hold the head of a dumbbell close to your chest with both the hands.

Method

Step 1

Now, inhale and start descending into a squat, by pushing your hips back, bending your legs without rounding your back

Step 2

Go down until your thighs are parallel to the floor

Step 3

Push your knees outward and keep your weight on your heels

Step 4

Pause for a second

Step 5

Exhale and return to the starting position by pushing through your heels and by extending your legs

Step 6

Repeat for the desire number of reps.
