FOR THE DOUGH: Wheat Flour 50g Methi Leaves handful Garlic 2-3 Cloves Green Chilli 1 Salt a pinch
FOR THE FILLING Minced Chicken 100g Onion 1 small, finely chopped Ginger-Garlic Paste 1 tsp Red Chilli Powder 1/2 tsp Chicken Masala 3/4 tsp Green Chilli 1, minced Salt to taste Kasoori Methi(optional) 2 tsp Lemon Juice as per taste Oil 5g Ghee 2.5g
FOR THE DOUGH ) Grind together methi leaves, garlic and green chilli with very little water. ) In a deep bowl, take wheat flour, add a pinch of salt, the above methi puree and some water(if needed) and knead into a soft dough. Cover it with a damp cloth keep it aside for half an hour.
FOR THE FILLING ) Heat some oil in a pan. Add chopped onions and fry till they turn translucent. ) Add ginger-garlic paste and saute till raw aroma disappears. Add chilli powder, salt and then minced chicken. Saute till it changes the colour. Now add chicken masala and kasuri methi(optional). ) Cover and cook till all the juice dries up. ) Switch off the flame and lemon juice. Mix well.
HOW TO PROCEED ) Divide the dough into two and roll them into balls. ) Flatten, and fill the stuffing in the centre. Gather the edges and seal the dough properly. ) Roll them into parathas. Cook them on hot tava and smear some ghee. ) Serve hot with some salad and curd.
