Preparation

The Lying Triceps Extension works the triceps from the elbow all the way to the latissimus dorsi. Lie on the bench with a narrow overhand grip on the barbell. Position barbell over your forehead with arms extended.

Method

Step 1

Inhale and lower the bar by bending the elbows

Step 2

Bring the bar close to your forehead

Step 3

Pause, exhale and push the bar up by extending your arms

Step 4

Return to the starting position

Step 5

Repeat for the desired number of reps.
