Cable Overhead Tricep Extension

Preparation

The Cable Overhead Tricep Extension works the triceps muscles. Attach a bar to the bottom pulley of a pulley machine. Sit on a bench. Hold onto the bar from behind with both hands and extend your arms with your hands directly over your head. Your palms should face forward. Hold your elbows close to your head.

Method

Step 1

Now, inhale and lower the bar behind your head slowly as you bend your arms

Step 2

Hold for a second

Step 3

Exhale and pull the bar up by flexing your triceps and extending your arms again

Step 4

Return to the starting position

Step 5

Repeat for the desired number of reps.
