50 gm Rice ( any fragrant variety )
1/2 tsp Cumin seeds
1 Tomato
1 tsp 3G paste
1 inch Cinnamon
1 Bay Leaf
A spoonful of chopped onions
2 gm oil
Dry spices ( Turmeric, red chilli, coriander and garam masala?

● Wash and soak chana dal for hour. ● Wash & keep rice aside. ● Heat oil in a cooker and add cinnamon & bay leaf . ● Once it turns aromatic add in the onions and cumin seeds together. ● Once the onion turns pink add in the soaked dal and fry over high heat for a minute. ● Add finely chopped tomatoes and G paste ,a pinch of salt just enough for the dal and saute over medium heat. ● Cover the lid and cook till the dal is half done. ● Add in turmeric, red chilli, coriander powder and cook for mins. ● Add a pinch of garam masala and saute. ● Add rice and ml water ( again depends upon the hardness of water and the variety of rice ) ● Add salt ad per taste . cover the lid and pressure cook for whistles or until tge rice soft. Once done drizzle some ghee an top and sprinkle some coriander leaves. I ran out of it so haven't used.
