15 big /medium palak leaves
rice 25 gm
moong / toor dal 25 gm
coconut meat 15 gm
red whole chillies -4
small tamarind piece and pinch of asafotida
Sock rice and moong for half an hour before you start.
In grinder grind coconut, red chillis Tamarind, asafotida into course paste(not smooth).
Then add socked rice and moong Salt and make thick paste coursly (don't add too much water)
Now apply this paste on the back side of a leaf (start with bigger leaf Then you can use median size leaf ion the top) Stack each leaf on the top of other and apply paste on each leaf( layer them from sides as well)
Once done roll from the side In to one big roll and steam them. (water should be boiled before placing in steamer. Steam for min)
Open the lid and let it cool down Cut the roll into slice of desired thickness
you can spray some coconut oil on the top while eating.I have not used it here.
