Ingredients

400g chicken breast boneless and cubed 1/2 tablespoon oil Ingredients for marination 1/2 cup curd or yogurt 1/2 tablespoon oil 1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste 1 tablespoon lemon grass finely chopped 1 tablespoon lemon juice 1 teaspoon red chili powder or paprika 1 tablespoon kasuri methi dried fenugreek leaves 3/4 teaspoon garam masala 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder 1/4 teaspoon black pepper 1/2 teaspoon cumin powder salt as per taste

Method

Step 1

Step : Chicken Marination Take mixing bowl and add everything mentioned in the ingredients for marination. Mix it well and adjust the taste if you want. Add chicken cubes to the marinade and cover the bowl leave it for minutes. Recommendation: Leave it overnight in the refrigerator for best result.

Step 2

Step : Roast chicken Take non-stick pan/tawa and heat with / tablespoon oil on medium flame. Put flame on low and carefully place the chicken pieces on the Tawa discard the remaining marinade. Roast them for - minutes on each side on low flame till chicken becomes tender and juicy.

Step 3

Step : Smoking with charcoal Using Aluminum foil make a small bowl or you can use steel bowl and keep it on the centre of the tawa (with roasted chicken all around it). Heat a piece of charcoal on medium flame, when it is red and hot, put it into the metal bowl ,add a spoon of ghee on top of it. Cover the pan with the lid and leave it for minutes. Remove lid and serve them hot with green mint chutney, lemon wedges and onion slices.
