Ingredients

1. 180g prawns shelled and deveined 2. 250g white mushroom thickly sliced 3. 4 cloves of garlic finely chopped 4. 30g onion finely chopped 5. Chopped parsley 6. 10g butter 7. 3g olive oil 8. 250g low fat milk 9. 50 gm Barilla Durum Wheat Semolina Pasta 10. Salt and pepper to taste

Method

Step 1

Marinate prawns with salt and pepper to taste. Set aside for mins. . Cook pasta as per package instructions. Strain the pasta. Do not rinse. . Heat olive oil on very high heat. Fry prawns for min on each side and set aside. Do not keep flame low otherwise prawns will release lot of water. We want a good sear on the prawns so keep flame high. Take out the prawns. . Turn off the flame. Wait for mins. Then turn on the flame and in the same pan add butter. Add onion and cook until soft. . Then add the mushrooms. Mushrooms will release a lot of water. Cook on medium to high heat until water is dried and mushrooms have turned brown. . Lower the heat and add garlic. Cook for not more than seconds. . Add the milk. Add salt to taste. Add the parsley. Stir well and cook until sauce thickens. . Add the pasta. Stir well. Turn off the flame. Cover and let it rest for mins until the sauce coats the pasta. ENJOY!!!
