Mixed veggies of your choice : 100gms
Oil:3gms
Cumin seeds
Green chillies as per taste: i have used 4
Red chilli powder: adjust as per your taste
Basmati rice/ Rice soaked : 50gms
Garam masala : As per taste
Onions :30gms
Dessicated coconut : less than 1gms : just few drizzles for plating/presentation
Orange juice :50ml
Turmeric powder: pinch
Almond flakes : 3gms
STEPS: . Heat pan . Add oil . Add cumins and green chillies, let it splutter . Add onions and saute till they are translucent . Add veggies of your choice and saute till they are soft . Add turmeric powder and chilli powder , garam masala powder and saute well . Drain soaked rice and add it to the veggies and saute well . Gradually add hot water step by step and keep sauting until rice is cooked . Now start adding orange juice gradually step by step and make sure your rice is not mushy . Once your pulav is ready serve hot NOTE: Make sure you adjust your spice levels so that it will not be more tangy or sweet
