Soya chunks flour - 50 gms
Moong beans - 50 gms
Ginger 1 inch & Green chillies -2 & Coriander leaves
Onion & tomatoes - 150 gms together (ratio of onion : tomato should be 1:2)
Ghee - 8 gms
Spices - Cumin powder, Coriander powder, turmeric, red chilli powder, salt - as per taste
ginger garlic paste 1 tsp
tamarind 1 inch piece
Prep - Soak moong beans and rice overnight or - hrs
Dosa - Grind soaked moong beans along with ginger and green chillies. Add little water at a time.
Mix moong beans paste, soya flour and spices together
Add water to adjust consistency
Brush tava with ghee and spread the batter evenly
Cook covered for - minutes on low flame then cook for - minutes in open pan
Flip and cook uncovered from other side too for minutes
Chutney - Chop onions, coriander and tomatoes roughly
Soak tamarind in half cup water for mins
In pan add gms ghee and once hot add onions and saute till they turn brown.
Once onions are done add coriander and saute for a min and then add ginger garlic paste and tomatoes and mix well
After mins add all spices and tamarind then add half cup water and cook covered for minutes or till tomatoes turn mushy
Once done let the mixture cool down and then blend it in blender by adding water as required.
