Raw Rice-30g
Fresh Methi leaves- 100g
Paneer- 50g
Onion -50 g
Tomato-50g
Green Peas - 30g
Green chilli-1
Garlic -1 clove
Ginger - quarter inch
Bay leaf, cloves, cinnamon-as per taste
turmeric powder- quarter teaspoon
cumin seeds- half teaspoon
Ghee-10g
salt to taste
wash the Methi leaves and sprinkle salt on it
Finely chop the ginger, garlic and green chilli
can use ginger garlic paste instead of the fine chops
Increase green chilli if you prefer it more spicy
In a pan saute the dry spices (cumin seeds, bay leaf, cinnamon, cloves) in ghee
Add chilli, ginger and garlic and saute till raw smell is gone
saute onions and tomatoes till they are cooked
Add turmeric , dhania powder and saute it
Add green peas, paneer and Methi leaves
squeeze the Methi leaves before adding to avoid the bitter taste of Methi leaves
add little water so that the mixture is cooked
Add the cooked rice to the mixture and yummy pulao is ready
