Matta rice - 70gms
Blanche the spinach and grind it into a smooth paste
In a pan, add the oil , add cumin seeds, chopped onion, ginger, garlic and chilli
Once the onion turns brown , add masala and cook until the raw masala smell is gone
Add chicken pieces and mix it with the masala and close and cook for mins in medium flame
Add the spinach paste, salt and water as per requirement and cook for another mins in sim flame
For Matta rice: wash and then soak the Matta rice in water for / hr. In cooker, add water upto /th of the cooker and keep it for boiling. Add the soaked rice and keep it in cooker for - whistles. Close and keep till the steam is gone . After that, drain the water completely in a filter and use only the rice.
