Ingredients

for kofta 500gm Grated Lauki(Ghiya/Doodhi/Bottle Ground)

10gm Gram flour

3ml olive oil for brushing

1/2 TSP turmeric powder

1/2 ginger garlic powder

2tsp coriander powder

1tsp Kashmiri red chili powder

1/2 cumin powder

chopped coriander leaves

salt to taste

For Gravy

1sliced medium onion

2 chopped medium tomatoes

1/2 cumin seeds

1tsp coriander powder

1/2 TSP turmeric powder

1/2 Kashmiri red chili powder

1tsp ginger garlic paste

3/4 cup water

salt to taste

1/2 TSP kasuri methi

7 ml olive oil

1 TSP of any gravy masala ( chole masala or chicken masala)

chopped fresh coriander leaves for garnishing

1 TSP garam masala

1tsp Fresh cream.

Method

Step 1

Kofta balls .Peel and grate lauki .squeeze out the water completely.

Step 2

Take squeezed grated Lauki in a large bowl and add all dry spices and mix well.

Step 3

Mixture should have a thick consistency to make round shaped( if needed you can add more gram flour).Do not keep this mixture idle for long time.since lauki releases water over time and it will make mixture soggy and you will not be able to make kofta balls.

Step 4

Grease your palms with oil and make medium round shaped balls of mixture.

Step 5

Preheat the Airfryer at c for mins.Grease the pan with little oil and put the kofta balls in it at temp.c for mins.Brush the kofta balls with little oil in intervals.

Step 6

For Gravy

Step 7

Heat the oil in a pan add sliced onion and stir fry until it turns light pink in color,transfer it to grinder jar.

Step 8

Add chopped tomatoes in jar and make a fine paste of it.

Step 9

Again heat the same pan add cumin seeds let it crackle now pour onion tomatoes paste along with ginger garlic paste ,dry spices and fresh cream except garam masala.

Step 10

Saute it for to mins now add water ,kasuri methi mix well and put the lid on for mins stir it occasionally.

Step 11

Add garam masala and turn the flame off .

Step 12

.Place the kofta balls in serving dish and pour the hot gravy on it.enjoy this delicious airfried lauki kofta curry with chapati or rice .
