Ingredients

1)Bottle guard / loki /लौकी - 1 cup or 150 gram grated 2)hang curd 100 gm 3) salt to taste 4) cumin powder 5)garlic cloves finely chopped 6) mustered seed / rai 1 tea spoon 7) red chili powder 1 tea spoon or as per your taste 8) ghee / butter /oil - 1 table spoon 9) turmeric / हल्दी 1 tea spoon

Method

Step 1

) heat water in a vessel ) when it starts boiling add little turmeric and salt ) add grated loki in it )boil it - min ) now after boiling keep it in a strainer to remove its excess water, )now add little salt and cumin powder in hang curd, ) now put cooked grated loki/लौकी in it mix it well ) now heat table spoon ghee in a tadka pen ) add mustard seeds and chopped garlic in it ) add red chili powder in it and add this mixture to mixture of grated bottle guard and curd ) your raita /रायता is ready to serve ) serve it cool
