Ingredients

Chicken

Potatoes

Peas

Carrots

Sweet corn

Oregano

Thyme

Pepper

Cheddar cheese or any easily available cheese

Butter undalted

Salt

Maida flour

Cubed onions

garlic 4 cloves

Rice bran oil

Method

Step 1

Boil potatoes, peel and mash with a tablespoon of melted unsalted butter Lay aside for topping the pie later

Step 2

Shred or mince the gms chicken and pan cook it in the onions, rice bran oil and sliced garlic. Add cubed carrots, tablespoon of maida for gravy, a cup of peas, half a cup of corn and simmer for mins till half cooked

Step 3

Pre Heat the oven to degree C

Step 4

Take an oven proof glass ware and rub the insides with butter to avoid glazing Pour the chicken and veggies into it Season it with the pepper, dry herbs, parsley, oregano, thyme etc Salt to taste Layer the top with the already mashed potatoes Grate a thin layer of cheese to top it Put it in the preheated oven for mins READY TO EAT. Remember to scoop it with all layers to get a balanced touch
