First peel off green peas and make paste of it.
Next in the jar add onion, garlic, green chilli grind it. make a smooth paste.
In a pan heat oil, add cumin seeds,Bay leaf and asafoetida. stir it then add onion paste and fry it till golden brown.
Add green peas paste and fry it at least minutes then add turmeric and garam masala. Give it a good stir and add cauliflower.
Add rice and stir it again. Add salt and water, cook it for to minutes in low flame. Garnish with the coriander. Green peas masala khichdi is ready. You also can add some ghee...it's optional because ghee enhances the taste of any type of khichdi.
