20 gm Onion
50 gm Potato
40 gm Carrot
1/2 knorr cube
Salt
5 gm Ghee / oil
5 gm Garlic chopped
Presoak the lentils for atleast hours in warm water.
Chop the vegetables in chunks.
Drain the water from soaked lentils and set aside.
Place a pressure pot on medium flame. Add in ghee and let it warm.
Now add the chopped veggies, garlic and saute for - mins. Add the lentils, knorr cubes and around ml water or till everything gets covered well in water. Add salt and check the taste.
Pressure cook for whistles. Turn off the flame and let it cool for few minutes.
Now remove the lid and check the consistency. If too watery simmer on a low flame for some more time. You can also season with additional spices at this stage.
Take out a portion in bowl and garnish with herbs , pepper & cheese.
