Ingredients

Drumstick 300 mg

Coconut 20 gm

Onion , garlic, curry leaves, fresh coriander, mustard seeds

Red chilly powder, turmeric, Goda masala, coriander powder, dhania powder.

Oil 15 ml

Jaggery 2 gm

Method

Step 1

Wash drumstick and cut the pod at one to two inches intervals.

Step 2

Heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds,curry leaves and when the seeds splutter, add onions and sauté till lightly browned.

Step 3

Add garlic and all masalas

Step 4

Salute it on high flame for min and then slow the flame

Step 5

Add drumstick pods. mix it thoroughly with masala so that pods get coated with masala.

Step 6

Keep lid on kadhai.

Step 7

Trick is to steam the pods on low flame so check kadhai time to time so that pods will not get burned.

Step 8

Add little bit water as required

Step 9

When pods get soft add salt , fresh coconut, coriander pinch of jaggery.

Step 10

Serve hot with rice...awesome taste
