800g chicken (whole,skinless)
8g Mustard Oil
cumin powder 1 tsp
coriander powder 1 tsp
turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
garam masala 1/2 tsp
kashmiri red chilli powder 1 tsp
Salt to taste
1/2 Lemon juice
100g coriander leaves
1tsp cumin seeds
1 tbsp ginger garlic + 4 green chilli paste
60g onion
Marinade the chicken with spices, ginger garlic chilli paste and lemon juice, set aside for atleast mins.
Heat oil in a kadai, add mustard seeds. let it crackle.
Add thinly sliced onions and fry till translucent. Add chicken and fry for mins in medium heat.
Lower the flame to low and cover with a lid. stir in every mins. Add /-/ cup of water if needed.
After - mins the chicken should be well cooked, add chopped coriander leaves and mix well, switch off the flame.
Let it settle for mins before serve.
Note: lemon juice can be replaced with tbsp curd. you can stick to garnishing the chicken with few coriander leaves or skip the leaves all together. it will still taste good.
