Ingredients

Wheat flour 100gm

Toor dal 100gm

Lauki 500gm

Tomato 100gm

Green chili

Ghee 20ml

Green chili

Ginger

Red chili powder

Turmeric powder

Coriander leaf for garnish

Method

Step 1

Knead the wheat flour with water and rest the dough for mins. Then, roll the dough and cut small pieces, give it desired shape. Boil water in a pan, add little salt and boil the dough pieces for hour. Strain the dough pieces(seitan) and add to the dal.

Step 2

Soak toor dal for an hour. Cut and chop lauki into small pieces. Boil dal and lauki. Make paste of tomato, green chili and ginger. Make tadke with ghee, rai and jeera, asofoetida, and add the tomato paste. Cook for a minute and add the boiled dal and seitan. Add salt and turmeric, red chili powder, jeera powder and cook for mins. Garnish with chopped coriander and serve.
