30 gm raw moong dal
100 gm curd
10 gm sugar
20 gm imli chutney ( store bought can be used)

Soak the dal for minimum - hours , drain & add an inch of ginger, salt & chilly & make a fine paste
Add eno to the batter
Take an appam/paniyaram maker, add the batter into the smaller holes, cover & cook for minutes each side
Add the steamed vadas into luke warm water mixed with hing & salt. Keep it soaked for - mins
Drain the water by lightly pressing the vadas in your palms
Beat curd, sugar, black salt & salt. Add roasted jeera powder
Serve the vada & pour the dahi over it. Sprinkle roasted jeera powder,red chilly powder & some green chutney. You can also add imli chutney around gm
