Ingredients

onion- 20gm

tomatoes- 20gm

whole garam masala( shahijeera, bayleaf ,cloves, cardamom)

an egg- 58gms

chicken- 100gms(marinated overnight with coriander powder , pepper powder, chilly powder, and garam masala)

rice - 30gms

chickpea- 50gms ( soaked overnight)

oil- 2-3gms

chilly powder/ chilly flakes

garlic 2nos

salt and pepper

Method

Step 1

Making the pulav- take water around ml add whole spices to it and let it boil , then add tomatoes (half of what needed)and garlic- ,add chickpea and rice, salt to taste , chilly powder ,turmeric powder ,garam masala and let it cook ! you can add any other spices if needed!

Step 2

The half fry- brush some oil on the tawa crack open the egg and let it cook for about - mins on low flame ,sprinkle some salt and pepper on it. I like it a little crispy hence the time. you can take it down in - mins.

Step 3

chicken- add oil , add garlic- ,sauté onion till translucent, add tomatoes and pinch of salt (careful if you have added the salt in marination) add the marinated chicken add around -ml water let it cook for about -mins.

Step 4

Note - if you want to reduce a little water in the chicken then put it on high flame and keep stirring for around - mins the water will evaporate a little. you can add coriander leaves ,kasuri methi to enhance the taste. I didn't have it!
