Bread- 22gm
Milk low fat - 50ml
Egg - 1
Cheese- 20gm
Cottage cheese/Paneer - 25gm
Spices and condiments: Oregano/herbs , salt, black pepper powder, vanilla extract(1tsp)
Whisk milk and egg together until you get nice foam. Add salt, pepper powder and vanilla essence and whisk again. If you want sweet you may add zero calorie sweetener.
Heat the nonstick pan, immerse the bread slice in the above mixture and let it roast on the pan for sometime. Spoon the milk mixture over the bread, little by little until it soaks all. This makes the bread soft. Now, cover the lid and let it cook via steam for about minutes.
Flip the bread slice, top it with paneer cubes and grate cheese over it. Sprinkle the oregano/herbs and let it roast for another - minutes until itâs golden brown. Tada! Itâs ready.
I havenât used butter/ghee to save my macros and I like it that way. You may add if you could.
