Chicken breast - 150gms
Yogurt - 15gms
Wheat flour - 80gms
Veggies- Onion, Tomato, Garlic
Masalas-Red chilli powder, black pepper, Ginger garlic paste, chicken masala, garam masala, jeera powder, dhaniya powder
Cut the chicken breast into pieces ( size you like) and put it in a pressure cooker along with one whole onion cut into pieces and a tomato cur into pieces
Add a spoon ful of ginger garlic paste, one teaspoon dhaniya powder (coriander powder) , half teaspoon jeera powder, half teaspoon salt and one teaspoon chicken masala. Fill it with water just enough so that your ingredients are dipped. Make sure not to fill it with too much water if you want your gravy thick
Now close the lid of the cooker and let it cook for whistles.
Now release the extra steam and take out the ingredients into a sieve and the remaining water with masalas into your cooking pan
Pick the pieces of chicken from the sieve with a spoon and put it into the cooking pan containing your separated masala water and put rest of the ingredients in sieve in a mixer/grinder. Add a tablespoon of yoghurt into it and blend to make a smooth paste.
Keep your masala water with chicken on stove and add the paste to it. Add half a teaspoon of garam masala and stir well until a boil. Simmer the gas and cover the vessel with the lid for about - minutes. After min, open the lid and take out the zero oil chicken with gravy into a serving bowl and put ghee or butter (from your daily macro consumption) and TADAA.....your zero oil butter chicken is ready.
For the naan, just make the dough like you do for rotis. Divide into or parts according how thick you like your naan. Now roll it to give a oval shape and put some garlic on it. Now the trick is to put some water on naan and stick it to the tawa. NOW hold the tawa upside down in order to heat the naan from a distance. and Here You Go. Perfect north indian butter chicken with garlic naan is ready.
