Fish 500 grams any ( I took Hilsa here )
Curd 300 grams
Mustard seeds ( black and yellow both Ok) 50 grams
Poppy seeds 40 grams or white sesame seeds
Green chillies 4-5
Turmeric 10 grams
Salt as per taste
Mustard oil 1 tablespoon
Ginger chilli paste 1 tablespoon
Grind green chillies, mustard and poppy seeds / sesame seeds, ginger in mixer
Take a bowl add curd , turmeric, salt , above paste and marinade the fish
Refrigerate for - minutes
Meanwhile, put a big container over gas top and fill with cups of water
Place a stand in centre and bring the water to boil
Simmer the flame and take a big tiffin , add the mustard oil on top and put some whole green chillies on top or steel box with fit lid to steam the fish
Transfer the fish in the tiffin and cover with lid
Now place the tiffin in stand and cover the container lid too for even steaming
Steam for - minutes on medium to low flame
Take it out and plate it , garnish with coriander and onion seeds and enjoy with piping hot bowl of rice
