Paneer 150 gms
Curd 75 gms
Ginger garlic paste - 15 gms
Mustard oil 5 gms
Kashmiri chilli powder 15 gms
Red Chilli powder 10 gms
Salt - to taste
Pulp of lemon pickle - 10 gms
Garam masala- 5 gms
Onion, coloured peppers, tomato - 150 gms
Cut paneer as long finger shape that are thick enough to pierce the skewer sticks,
In a pan add curd, half of oil and other mentioned ingredients.
Mix thoroughly to make a thick paste
Adjust the spice levels and salt according to your taste
Now add the paneer and rub the marinade evenly
Allow the paneer to soak for to mins to absorb the flavour of the masala.
Now pierce the skewer through the paneer
Use a heavy sauce pan or tawa to heat and all I the paneer to cook until it get golden brown. Use the leftover oil to rub the paneer until it get cooked.
Bring the cut vegetables over the pan and slightly cook until they become translucent on the remaining oil
Use these vegetables to make a bed and allow the paneer to stay on top.
This preparation is a great combination to make your paneer khatti rolls or as an accompaniment to go along with your rice, dal chawal, curd rice, Sambar rice, Rasam sadam, etc..
