Red lentils- 100gm
Olive oil - 5gm
Tomatoes- 100gm
Onion- 100gm
Capsicum- 100gm
Ginger and Garlic- 10gm
Spices- Red chilly powder (2tsp), cumin powder, (0.5 tsp), coriander powder( 1 tsp), mixed herbs, dried fenugreek leaves, salt and black pepper powder
Boil the lentils in a pot until it turns mushy. Meanwhile, in a pan, add sliced onions, tomatoes and capsicum along with ginger garlic paste and cook it until it turns light golden brown.
Add spices to the pan, and cook for - seconds. Let the lentils and veggies be cooled down then add it to the grinder or use hand blender to mix all things
Add water as needed and simmer it for about - minutes. Tada! It’s ready. Add (optional) corn kernels and sesame seeds to include crunchiness! Voila enjoy it!
