rawa/semolina/sooji (30gm)
besan/chickpea flour/gram flour (40gm)
low fat curd(75 gm) and water (1-1. 5 cup approx)
sugar (1 tbsp), salt (0.75 tbsp), eno in lemon flavour (full sachet)
oil(10gm), mustard seeds, cumin seeds, sesame seeds (1tsp each)
green chili, garlic, ginger, coriander, curry leaves paste (2 tbsp)
Combine semolina and besan in a bowl. Mix in curd and adjust the consistency with water.
Add a paste made from green chili, garlic, ginger, coriander, and curry leaves, along with salt and sugar. Let the batter rest for - minutes.
Add eno and mix for a few seconds only.
Pour the batter into a greased steaming dish and steam for minutes on medium flame. Check in the middle to ensure it is cooked.
Once steamed,let it cool down then cut the dhokla into pieces.
Prepare tempering by heating oil with cumin seeds, mustard seeds, and sesame seeds until they splutter. Pour the tempering over the cut dhokla. Enjoy!
