Basmati rice - 50 g

Rajma - 40 g

Onion-1 large

Tomato- 1 large

Ginger Garlic paste

Amul Cream

Spices - Cumin powder, Coriander powder, Chilly powder

Salt

Method

Step 1

When making rajma curry, make sure that the rajma is cooked well. Usually, rajma is soaked overnight or for to hours so that they take less time to cook.

Step 2

Add rajma to a litre pressure cooker along with cups of water. You can also add ¼ teaspoon salt if you want. Pressure cook rajma for to whistles or for to minutes. Rajma has to be cooked very well. There should be no rawness or bite in the rajma. Pressure cooking time will vary depending on the quality of the rajma. Fresh kidney beans cook faster than aged beans.

Step 3

For Gravy, Take onion, tomato, ginger and garlic. Take oil in pan. Add ginger garlic paste cook until brown. Add chopped onion and cook it for - mins. Now add Tomato puree and salt and all spices and cook it for another mins.

Step 4

Now add cooked rajma into in masala and mix it well. Cook it for mins on medium flame.

Step 5

Tada!! Here you go. Desi Rajma rice in your diet is ready.
