Low fat paneer -50 g
Spinach- 100 g
Garlic-4-5 pods
Ginger-1/2 inch
Green chilies-1
Oil/ ghee -3 g
Salt
Cumin seeds
Curd for garnish
Cardamom powder- optional
Corn flour/ rice flour/ wheat flour-10 g
Clean and blanch spinach leaves ( Boil water in a vessel and add clean spinach leaves and cook for - minutes then drain and add them to ice cold water - this process makes spinach retain its green colour )
In a grinder add green chilies, garlic,ginger and grind them coarsely
Remove it and add spinach, corn flour and grind until smooth paste forms
Now in a nonstick pan brush oil and heat it on medium heat
Add cumin seeds then add chilli, ginger, garlic paste
Add spinach puree and salt , cardamom powder
Add paneer pieces, let it cook for - minutes
Garnish with little beaten fresh curd or beaten cream Enjoy !!
