Moringa leaves-washed and air dried-1 katori
Chick pea daal / chana daal -30 g
Black gram daal / urad daal -30 g
Garlic-5-6 pods
Red chilli/ red chili powder-as per your choice
Sesame seeds-5 g
Tamarind/ aamchur- small piece/half tsp
Oil for brushing the pan -2 g
Salt
Asafoetida-1 pinch
Black pepper powder- optional
Coriander seeds-1 tsp
Cumin seeds-1/2 tsp
Clean moringa leaves with water and spead on cloth to air dry in shade by spreading it on kitchen napkin
Brush little oil on the pan and nicely roast garlic pods, dry red chillies ,cumin seeds ,coriander seeds ,and sesame seeds
add dried moringa leaves and roast nicely Check by crushing few leaves with finger if they are crisp and form powder, Remove everything in a plate and let it cool
In the same pan dry roast both dals separately till golden Remove and cool them a little
Then add salt and grind everything to a coarse chutney Enjoy with hot rice and ghee or Dosa ,idly
