Leat meat minced - 150 g
Tomatoes finely diced - 200 g
Onion finely diced - 100 g
Bread - 4 slices
Oil - 5 g
Mint - A generous handful, finely chopped
Coriander - A less than generous handful, finely chopped
Red chilli powder, salt to taste, coriander powder, ginger garlic paste
Add oil to a vessel, add the finely diced onions and cook until transparent. Add the ginger garlic paste and cook for a few mins.
Add the diced tomatoes and some salt, mix it with a spoon, cover it with a lid and let it cook for - mins on medium low heat until tomatoes are mushy.
Open the lid and mash the ingredients with a potato masher and cook until the water almost dries off. Add the minced meat, half tsp red chilli powder, and half tsp coriander powder and mix it with the ingredients and cook until done.
Add the mint leaves towards the end of the cooking (it'll take away and control the strong meaty flavour of the dish) followed by fresh coriander.
Adjust salt according to your taste. Spread the kheema on one slice of bread and put the other slice on top and put it in the sandwich maker.
Once brown and crispy, take out the sandwich and enjoy your fresh, delicious and high protein sandwiches.
