60gm wheat flour 30gm defatted soya flour 15gm oil 150gm bottle gourd 100gm carrots Fenugreek leaves (fresh methi, I didnโt measure) Chilli garlic paste Spices of your choice Half lemon A pinch of baking soda Mustard & sesame seeds for tempering
Method ๐ธ In a bowl add all the veggies, flours and spices along with chilli garlic paste. ๐ธ Mix everything well and make a dough. ๐ธ The dough will be a little sticky so grease your palms with oil to make the muthia rolls. ๐ธ Make small sized ball from the dough and make the shape as shown in the video and steam it for at least - mins or until a clean fork comes out of it. ๐ธ Once steamed well, cut them into bite sizes For the tempering Heat oil in a pan, add mustard and sesame seeds and toss the muthias until they turn slightly crispy golden on the outside. Enjoy with hot cup of chai โ๏ธ or dahi!
