3 kg carrots, 250g sugar, 2 litres milk, 50g nuts (almonds, cashews and raisins, green elaichi)
Peel and rinse the carrots properly and grate them.
Take a deep wok or pressure cooker ( of litres) and add the grated carrots in it.
Add litres milk and mix them well. Put the utensil you used on a low flame. Keep stirring until it starts drying. It'll take to hours easily on a low flame.
Keep stirring very often when milk started reducing.
Add sugar when it becomes dry. Mix it well and cook it until it gets into the consistency you want. It'll take to minutes. Ghee (/ spoons) is optional if you want.
You can add nuts. Mix it well. Keep stirring for a minute and switch off the flame.
Delicious gajar ka halwa is ready to serve. ๐
