Chopped carrots – 200 g → ~80 kcal • Low-fat milk – 200 ml → ~65 kcal • Cardamom powder – 1 tsp → ~5 kcal • Cranberries – 10 g → ~30 kcal • Ghee – 3 g → ~27 kcal • Artificial sweetener – 2 sachets → 0 kcal
Prepare carrots Wash, peel, and finely chop or grate the carrots. Cook carrots in milk Add carrots and low-fat milk to a thick-bottom pan. Cook on medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the milk reduces and carrots turn soft (– minutes). Add flavour Once the mixture thickens, add cardamom powder and mix well. Add cranberries Stir in the cranberries and cook for another – minutes until slightly soft. Finish with ghee Add g ghee, mix well, and cook for – minutes till the halwa comes together and looks glossy. Sweeten Turn off the heat and add artificial sweetener as per taste. Mix well. Serve warm Serve immediately or refrigerate and reheat lightly before serving.
