Chickpea - 50gms (Soak it previous night ) Mustard Oil or Ghee - 8gms Onion - 2medium pcs Tomato - 2pcs ( Market bought Puree can be used or make a puree out of this 2pcs.) A Pinch of Salt 1tsp Coriander Powder 1tsp Chole Masala ( MDH or any brand incase you have) 1/2 tsp Kashmiri lal mirch 1/2 tsp Haldi Powder. Khada Garam Masala ( 1pc elaichi,1pc clove,2 to 4 peppercorns,1bay leaf) 1/2 tsp Cumin seeds 1tbsp Chopped Garlic Cloves 1/2tsp Kasuri Methi powder.
Step : Soak Chickpea overnight in water. Step : Take tomatoes and make puree out of it. Chop onion into small pcs. Step : Take a Pressure Cooker,add Ghee/Mustard oil to it. Then Add Cumin Seeds and Khada Garam Masala. Step : Saute the Khada garam masala for secs and add chopped Garlic cloves to it.Saute for secs again Step : Add Onion to it. Saute for a min and add tomato puree to it then. Saute for another mins Step : Then Add all the Masala mentioned along with chole masala too and saute for secs again. Step : After that add Chole,add lukewarm water to Chole until it dissolves in the water. Step : Lock the cooker and put it on low steam for whistles Step : Once the pressure releases,add in some kasuri methi powder for garnishing. Sprinkle / tsp Garam masala powder too and stir it.
