Apple – 1 (peeled & chopped)
Dates – 45g (pitted & chopped)
Almonds – 25g (soaked & peeled)
Milk 300ml
Sweetener – to taste (optional)
Saffron – a couple of strands
Vanilla essence – a few drops
Salt a tiny pinch
Peel, soak, and prep. Toss all ingredients into a blender with a pinch of salt. Blend until silky smooth. Pour into an airtight container and freeze for – hours. Scrape out the semi-frozen mix and re-blend until airy and velvety.
Pour it back into the container and freeze overnight. Scoop into bowls or dessert glasses and garnish with the reserved chopped almonds and dates. Serve once the ice cream has fully set.
