▪ 15 gm ghee ▪ 100 gm rice ▪ 100 gm toor dal ▪ 600 ml water ▪ 2 cloves of chopped garlic ▪ 6-7 chopped curry leaves ▪ 1 teaspoon mustard seeds ▪ 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder ▪ 1 chopped green chilly ▪ 1 red chilly ▪ chopped coriander leaves ▪ salt
❒ Rinse rice and dal. Add water, salt, turmeric and pressure cook for three whistles. ❒ Heat ghee in a pan. Add mustard seeds, let them splutter. ❒ Add chopped garlic, green chilli, curry leaves, red chilly. Sauté until garlic becomes golden. ❒ Once the pressure cooker cools down, open the cooker lid. Add the prepared ghee tadka and coriander leaves. Mix it well and enjoy with any vegetable curry or stir fry. I am enjoying with steamed broccoli and cucumber.
