Ingredients

2 boneless and skinless chicken breasts

20 gm flour (all purpose or plain)

30 gm tablespoons grated cheese(parmesan+cheddar)

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon Black cracked pepper

15 gm butter

garlic 6-8 cloves

200 ml milk

Potatoes - 200 gm

salt as per taste

dill/parsley for garnishing

Method

Step 1

Season the chicken with salt, garlic powder and pepper. . Heat gm of butter in a large pan over medium-high heat. Swirl pan to coat evenly. . Flatten the chicken breast by thumping it and sear chicken breasts until golden on each side, (about - minutes each side, depending on the thickness of your chicken). Transfer to a plate. Set aside . Dice the potatoes in small pieces and microwave for about minutes and then cook in the same skillet till crispy from outside . Put the Cooked potatoes in a bowl and add salt and spices of your choice and toss it all together. . In the same skillet pour remaining butter on low heat and fry the garlic( cut garlic into thin slices) . Add the flour and keep whisking the mixture . Gradually add milk in small batches while whisking the sauce . Add cheese salt and black pepper to the sauce . Add the chicken back into the pan and let simmer for a further - minutes to thicken the sauce to your liking. The chicken breast will soak up all of the delicious flavours. . Garnish with dill(preferably parsley if available) and a little black cracked pepper.
