Black chana - 70 g (before soaking)
Tomato - 100 g (finely diced)
Onion - 70 g (finely diced)
Potato - 150 g (large chunks)
Curd - 150 g
Chaat masala, salt, red chilli powder, jeera powder and a pinch of low calorie sweetener
To a pressure cooker add the soaked chana, some salt and just enough water to cover the contents.
Pressure cook the chana for whistle.
Add the peeled and chopped potatoes (large chunks) to the same pressure cooker and pressure cook for another whistle.
Let the pressure cooker depressurize naturally and in the meantime, beat the curd until smooth, add a pinch of low calorie sweetener, salt to taste (keep it mild), chaat masala (according to your taste), pinch of jeera powder and red chilli powder (based on how spicy you like it, keep it mild).
Add the chopped onions and tomatoes to the same bowl as the curd.
Cook and dry the water in the pressure cooker, mash some of the chana and potato mix, and add all of it to the curd once slightly cooled.
Mix well, top it with some fresh coriander and enjoy your filling high protein snack.
