3 kg carrots 4-5 big spoons ghee 1 n 0.5 litre milk 100-150 gms sugar 1 to 1 ½ teaspoon pre-ground cardamom powder 10-12 pieces of crushed/cut cashew badam
* First rinse and peel kgs carrots and grate it with a box grater or in a food processor. * Take a pan n keep on the stove, add - big spoons ghee, after few mins add grated carrots n stir it for - mins. * once carrot looks tender add one and half litre boiled and warm milk. *Keep low flame n stir it until the liquid is reduced by % . *Add - gms brown sugar. again stir it on Simmer till the gajar ka halwa mixture starts to thicken and reduces more. * Add about to ½ teaspoon pre-ground cardamom powder and crushed/cut cashew n badam.
