The Dual Pulley Step Up on Bench works the quadriceps and posterior chain. Stand behind a bench or an elevated platform and between two low and close pulley cables to the sides. Grasp stirrups at each side of the platform. Stand upright with arms straight down at the sides.
Place your right foot on the elevated platform
This is the starting position
Then, exhale and stand on the elevated platform by bringing your left foot on the bench
Inhale and step down with your left foot
Then exhale and bring the left foot on the bench again by lifting your body weight on the right leg
Do this for the desired number of reps
Return to the starting position and repeat with the other leg.
